The Kivi kuaka january expedition visited the atoll of Tekokota, hosting a large colony of Sooty Tern. Using aerial photos taken from our drone, confronted to our field observations, we estimated that 7250 pairs of sooty tern breed on Tekokota. Thanks to Aurélien Audevard, and to Nicolas Bastide for his help in the count (Mesurim software).
